WESTON / REDDING / EASTON, CT – The Connecticut Department of Health confirmed 57 active cases of the new coronavirus in Weston, 54 in Redding and 28 in Easton on Wednesday.
Connecticut saw the largest decrease in net hospital stays in a day between Thursday and Friday, with 70 fewer patients admitted. Fairfield County recorded a net loss of 36 hospital admissions.
The state continues to record a high number of deaths, with 125 more reported on Friday. This brings the number of deaths to 1,764. Out of 2,541 tests, 821 new cases were confirmed in the laboratory. There are a total of 23,921 laboratory confirmed cases.
